Timman’s Titans onderscheiden

Opnieuw is uitgeverij New in Chess in de prijzen gevallen. Deze keer met haar meest prominente auteur, namelijk Jan Timman. Zijn boek ‘Timman’s Titans’ won de ‘English Chess Federation 2017 Book of the Year Award’.

Het juryrapport begint met: ‘The judges unanimously agreed on a chess book which covers nearly every aspect of chess: history, character, ambition, styles of play, technical aspects, a rare chess set, wives and even dreams!’
